Drifting-Yes or No?

Post by Z3ITM4NN on Tue Jul 26, 2016 12:40 pm

Is drifting in racing helpfull or does it slow you down? What do u guys think about it?

I think it slows u down and u can be faster when u brake short go around the curve and go at fullspeed again.

Very complex question, it depends on car type, road turns, obstacles, weather, etc.
As far as I know drifting does slow you down, but I often use it (depends on the circumstances when though) because you can clear the corners (90°) easily, but not as fast as with the other method you mentioned.
Although, when it comes to hairpins (180°), drifting is more useful than braking short then fullspeed, but in such cases drifting is riskier.
All in all, I like drifting, so here comes my vote Smile
